21 September 2017: ASIA POWER WEEK DRAWS OVER 8,500 INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS FROM ACROSS ASIA
Asia Power Week Conference and Exhibition, comprising of POWER‐GEN Asia and Renewable Energy World Asia took place on 19‐21 September 2017 at BITEC,  Bangkok and attracted over 8,500 industry professionals from more than 75 countries, a clear indication that Asia continues to attract the attention of the international power generation industry players. 19 September 2017: ASIA POWER WEEK KICKS OFF IN BANGKOK
PennWell Corporation was joined by the Ministry of Energy, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Ltd and PT. Cirebon Energi Prasarana today to officially open Asia Power Week 2017 as part of the Opening Keynote. To officially launch Asia Power Week 2017, the Opening Keynote session was enjoyed by more than 400 attendees in Bhiraj Hall 1 at BITEC. Speeches and presentations were provided by General Surasak Srisak, Vice Minister for Energy, Ministry of Energy; Mr. Saharath Boonpotipukdee, Deputy Governor, Renewable and New Energy, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand; Mr. Kenji Ando, President and CEO, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Ltd.; and Mr. Heru Dewanto, President Director, PT.
